Grab N Go commissioned me to work on their interior menu screens. When coming up with the strategy I knew I wanted to break down the list between drinks, sweet and savory meals. They didn't want all of the items on the menu to be on screen so I chose their best sellers; grilled cheese sandwiches and toasts. I wanted the food to look good and be the most important factor. By keeping the food in color and leaving everything else in black and white, I was able to achieve the importance factor I was looking for. The copyrighting was written by me, was looking for to not be so grammatically correct and speak in a more neighborly way. The area of Brooklyn where the shop was located had that same edge and I wanted to bring it into the shop.
